Is a same-day tango or flex ticket refundable?
 
That is, does the 24 hour refundability policy apply to a ticket for same-day travel?

Yes. Still falls under canceling within 24 hrs of booking.

Thanks - any time limit before departure to do this? I wouldn't think I can buy a ticket, not show up for the flight, and cancel two hours after departure?

I'd be surprised with same day tango availability... but there is this gem, clearly posted at time of purchase on ac.com.

You cannot.

You may cancel your booking online if:

You originally booked your flight on aircanada.com
You are cancelling your entire booking.
You are cancelling your flight at least two hours before departure.

Ideally, *before* you check in, clear security and spend a few hours at the MLL.

Rumour has it that that's frowned upon.
