YVR-EWR E upgrade
 
Requested upgrade for me and companion 12 days out. Traveling on the 8th of May. Still on waitlist...
First time ever not receiving request this soon...
Chances of success? or should change route to fly J together?

e-up inventory AC549 on Sep 12?
 
I would appreciate if anyone could check the J inventory on AC549 on Sep 12 EWR to YVR.

Please also comment on the chance on the upgrade.

Thank you so much in advance for the help.

P.S. If it doesn't look well, what's my next best option?
LGA-YYZ-YVR AC719/AC033 Flex + e-up?
Or the same route with redeeming 25000 aeroplan (7.68cpm) + $44

Hard to say what exactly your chances of an eUp are.

As for other routes, check ac.com and only show fares eligible for eUp, that should give you a decent idea. There are LGA-YYZ-YVR with R space, so as an SE, you should be able to upgrade them even now.

When you request it, yes. They may clear it before the flight. Or it may clear at the gate. Or it may never clear. Hard to say.

I ended up getting flex fare AC719/AC033 LGA-YYZ-YVR, e-up confirmed J right away.
