I still have some of my photos of views to post, but in the meantime, we have this take-off roll from LHR. Great to see little Fin 733 again.
Jerry has some hilarious commentary about her appearance but he loves the livery. Video is cued up to just before the camera is on AC. Sequence runs for 1 minute from approx the 14:35-15.35 minute mark.
Also, Fin 832 taxis by at the 17:22 mark. I watched this show and as is often the case at LHR, there were a number of AC birds nesting together.
Enjoy

Brian Losito's name was mentioned in a few different threads, but I'll post this here and mods can move it.

AC1598, YYC-YYZ, Feb 22, 2020. Flight ended up being delayed by about 4 hours. This was the first flight of a trip to IAH. Sun is just starting to come up on the horizon.
Flying over Vaughan, you can see Canada's Wonderland in the distance just underneath the flaps.
Hanging everything out to slow down, with an Emirates A380 in the background.

Just received the link to this video from 24left and felt as though it had to be reposted here. Brian Losito posts a lot of great pictures and videos, but this is one of the best I have seen from him.

As I took to the air again recently on my first flights in quite some time, I realize I never posted my last trip to HKG at the end of February.
(I did two trips, a week apart, and the photos from the first one are above in Post 627)
It was a beautiful day for flying.....
It was a bit shocking and rather sad to see no one at the gate for AC 15 as boarding began. For those familiar, the lines at the gate for this flight were always long and the space between the gate and the wall was always completely full.
IIRC, this AC 15 had barely 50 of us onboard, a couple of us in main J, no one in mini-J and no one in PE and obviously very few in Y.
Departing HKG on AC 16
Pushing back, I had this view out my window, birds we may not see again for a long time
View as we taxied
And again, just some of the many aircraft parked with nowhere to go.
My recent flights, December 2020
Ah, there she is, my pretty bird.
A beautiful day for flying.
And inbound to YVR of course
For my flight back, taxiing to 26L
It was great to be back up there, above the clouds and far away from the mayhem on the planet below, even for just a short time.

A friend in SYD saw AC7219's inbound Dec 18 and sent this photo from the Macquarie Park area of SYD.
Zooming in on my phone, I could see the Maple Leaf on the tail. Fin 747.

Somewhere around Kananaskis, I think. Beautiful day over the Rockies.
