10 million Bonus Aeroplan - St Patricks Day Payout
How many of the 10 million Bonus Aeroplan® Miles will you get? That depends on the number of bookings made with the promotional code, with a minimum of 500 Bonus Aeroplan Miles earned per booking.
*The 10,000,000 Bonus Aeroplan Miles will be divided equally amongst all eligible Aeroplan Members who make a new booking on aircanada.com and apply the promotion code STPATRICK2016 to their new booking between March 10 and 17, 2016, for travel until May 31, 2016. The number of Bonus Aeroplan Miles to be awarded to each eligible member will depend on the total number of eligible members who participate in the promotion.
Use promotional code STPATRICK2016 when booking at aircanada.com.
Book by March 17, 2016, for travel by May 31, 2016.

Can I ask a somewhat related but perhaps important question?
Is there ever any sort of audit/accountability report/formal statement as to the ultimate result of these promotions?
I remember reading cereal boxes with prizes, and you could always write in and get the results.
Is this possible with Aeroplan, or this a totally unregulated, unwatched type of activity?
How does Joe Q. Public know that these 10 million miles are actually given out?

Honest question... to me, the 2000 or so miles are barely worth the effort (ie, definitely not going to bother rebooking). I get somewhere in the range of 30,000 or more miles a month between flights and credit cards. Aeroplan miles simply aren't worth that much to me. I even swap in giving a friend E50k over the 100% miles bonus for SE.
Am I the exception here?
