Flights to BOS

I booked three flights to BOS from YYZ return yesterday (Feb 19th) for early March and the seat maps were unavailable. Tried again today and they were still unavailable. Anyone know why? I was able to see the seat maps for a flight in March to/from Orlando.

What dates? I just tried a few random dates in early March and had no trouble getting the seat maps for any YYZ-BOS or BOS-YYZ I pulled up.

Air Canada is experimenting with a brand new "High Density, standing room only" model, so they are starting to remove the seat maps from all flights.

Or, it might have just been an IT glitch.

What did AC say when you called?

It could be an IT glitch, it could be an aircraft swap in progress or it could be something in your browser.

There won't be anyway of knowing with certainty until you call.

We are currently not able to display the seat map for this flight. Please try again later

Just tried again and that was the reply. One flight is YYZ-BOS mar 5 #7680

Spoke to AC and they were able to book seats for all 3 of my BOS bookings. They couldn't see a reason for the problem but left it to the IT people to sort out.

Very strange. That was one of the dates I looked at earlier and still works fine for me. Chalk it up to AC IT gremlins - that's why we have a >2,000-post thread about AC/AE website problems!

Seats booked for early May flight, no issue, but how is the transit process at YYZ from domestic? Have a connecting flight with 1.35 hrs on AC at 1.00 pm. Regular passengers with carryon in J and no special passes. Hopefully enough time to clear customs and possibly a coffee at the lounge if available.

Assuming no flight delays, you should be able to make it. Having enough time to do the transborder MLL will depend on how busy customs is.
