I was listening to a business report on the energy sector. Among the factoids stated was that the price of avgas had risen 15 cents per unit.

I say unit because I am not sure what the unit of measurement was.

I knew it had to happen eventually since their fuel hedging program has decreased
to a smaller percentage of their overall
purchases. To all the people who said it will
never happen I am not sure how you expected them to make up for the difference.

Well that's no more acceptable than AC doing it. Problem is, when your major competitor is advertising fares that don't include the "fuel surcharge" you're at a great disadvantage advertising an honest fare that does include everything. Much like advertising one-way fares that require a return purchase.
