Rapidair same day changes
 
Can someone tell me what the rules are for Rapidair (YYC-YVR) same day airport changes? The information on AC.com seems out of date.

I know you can standby for free for an earlier Rapidair flight. However, what if you want a later flight? Can you just show up at the airport within a certain time frame or do you forfeit? Many thanks!

No, you have to pay, and in theory, you have to pay ahead of time.

Technically, if you no-show a flight, you forfeit it.

Last time I did it me meetings ran late I missed my flight. I went to the counter, they charged me 75$ + tax for a same day change and put me on the next one. I booked flex G and ended up rebooked into flex H.

Sure, but I would never depend on that.

There are also countless stories of people being rebooked for free.

But the rule states that if you don't show up, you lose it.
