Flights at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris were badly disrupted as a severe snow storm hit northern France on Saturday.

There were cancellations and delays and a major motorway in the French capital was closed, causing traffic chaos.

Travelers are advised to contact their airlines before leaving to take Sunday flights from the airport
