What's the issue with 148 today? January 6, 2016
 

Hi folks

Have my BP for 148. It is now delayed by three hours (now showing 16:00 PST departure).

It was originally a 77W but when I checked in yesterday it was swapped for a 789 (woot!). Looking out the window of the MLL at C50, it is FIN832. My BP and the monitors still show gate C50.

Any idea what's going on?

I'm not well-versed in this speak, but it looks like we got the 789 because of the 77X Dream Cabin refurb, and now there is some mechanical issue with the flaps?

No worries, nomad, no offence was taken. I forgot to add the :p to it. I consider myself more of a lurker anyway who may or may not have odious breath. :D

I'm guessing the same as you that your plane being worked on as we speak. Hopefully it'll be done soon.

FIN 832 went to SFO on 05JAN as a replacement for a 763 on AC757/756, and ended up stuck in SFO almost 10 hours due to maintenance issues. I guess they didn't quite fix it...
