Is EF still accurate for AC ?
Last week BOM-YYZ showed Y1. On the plane there were rows of seats in Y that were empty. J seemed correct as it went from J=0 to J5 and there was a upg list and it cleared with me at No1 :-). This flight was changed from 789 to 777 months back but this may explain a discrepancy in Y ?
This week for YYZ-LAS J=O, yet AC is offering bid upgrades upto T-48. I understand that they may not accept the bids however my past experience is that they show a flight not available for bid upg if J=0.

Define wrong?
If you mean that RM may "0 out" a flight or reduce availability for whatever reason, then yes it's possible.
If you mean that AC is actually selling J5 and EF shows J0, I doubt this (aside from usual change of inventory based on connecting flights).
Also, do not underestimate misconnects and no shows. It's not unheard of to have 20+ passengers misconnect on a flight.

LAS flights this week are full with CES traffic, to the point that they will likely 0 out J closer to departure in order to have room to upgrade Y passengers in to prevent or lessen an oversell. In that case, might as well give those seats to people willing to pay (with money or eUpgrades) than give them for free.

Few years ago when I got comp J on an N booking YULCDG christmas time, the flight was allegedly overbooked by 50 (as per check in counter so who knows, but flight was 0 across).
Flight left with empty J seats.
