Welcome to the post industrialist customer centric economy where the marketer is no longer in charge. Where the 1960s managers woke up and found out that their customers don't really like the taste of their "more of the same"coffee and want changes with better caffeine to quell the lizard brain. Of course this meant the airline economist (who really wanted to be a marketer) had to put away their punch card sheets and embrace changes that don't neatly fit into their slide rule calculations. Especially when no one really cares for their self proclaimed, fashionable pocket protectors. But they did care about The ever shrinking, harder to justify, value proposition being conked out a reservac II mouthpiece.

You don't have to like it. But you will probably find it more constructive (and fulfilling) if you can provide input that seeks to maximize customer value and customer return on this board. especially since (through your own admissions) you seem to have an incredible difficult time understanding the raison d'etre of FT.

Could somebody please do a fare bucket check on AC/PHL-YYZ-YEG on May 17 for 7537/159 (the 16:35 dep.) and 7547/135 (the 18:45 dep.) with a Canadian POS? Thank you.

How oversold a flight is?
 

Can it tell you how oversold a flight is?
AC 8657 will not sell any seats on YYZ-YXU direct (Mar 27). AC.com will offer me connecting flights in full J (I understand how Revenue Management works and why they'd offer it), but any way of knowing how oversold it is? Or just if it 0'ed out.

They're probably willing to sell a connecting full J flight because they'll let Y get overbooked on 8657.

But as of right now, one would not know if it is full, or oversold by 1 for example

Any chance someone can check AC832/YUL-BRU in Y on August 21 (as part of YEG-YUL-BRU-BOD, if that matters)? ITA is pulling up an itinerary with it, but every OTA except Flight Network reprices...

My needs do not justify a subscription of my own, and I don't even really need the info now (que sera sera - can't change anything) but if anyone could please check EF for a prognosis of my waitlisted upgrade 17 SEP (tomorrow) on AC 1914, it might either give me hope or dash my hopes.
