  • Route (e.g. YYC-YYZ)
  • Date (e.g. September 5)
  • Flight number (e.g. 142)

Note that EF searches are by route and by date (see this post for details).

Would not surprise me to see some Op-Ups into PE and/or Business.

I am flying west within Canada tomorrow (Apr 26) and most, if not all of the flights going West from YOW, YUL and YYZ seem full or oversold.

Perfect - thank you!

Seems like it should be a somewhat empty flight unless I'm missing something.

Yeah I took a look at the seat preview as if I was purchasing the ticket from AC, 1 J seat occupied, and a few other Y seats blocked off too. Curious to see what ends up happening

@YVRPPL
BCD will yield the same results as EF.

@asovse1
It's easier and faster (and arguably cleaner), to use the bb code copy function on EF and the paste it here. Just a FYI.

No, you're not missing anything based on the current published availability (willing to sell numbers).

J and O are just shy of 50% booked, with Y just under 75%.

Amusing how 70% overall load is now considered "light" and "empty"

When the bulk of Y subclasses still show "9", that's all we can go by. (I guess add the seatmap for some inference, although not always a great measure)

But if you'd be willing to build us an app that shows internal numbers, I would be the first one to subscribe to it.

Just call and say the magic words "revenue management". Not only will they give you the real loads, but they'll also give you a free upgrade!

Any kind folks willing to check some availability for me? AE has none listed but seems to (? randomly) open some up.
miniRTW so looking for award J space.

Sunday June 23rd:
AC309 YUL - YVR @ 1830
AC33 YYZ - YVR @ 2015

If anyone can also comment on if there's some known method to how AE releases space that would be appreciated.
I've been checking daily and there would be days with no direct J availability, then today I noticed a few flights open.

I'm still learning EF (brand new to it) and generally speaking I'm an idiot, so bear with me here...

I see no availability for AC309. There are available seats for AC301 and ACr1543

AC33 has 'X' (coach) available only.

Now comes the people telling me I'm doing it wrong!

As an EF rookie, care to elaborate what that means exactly?
6 J seats on each and AC309 will be released on AE at some point?

@CanadianMike
From anecdotal evidence (because nobody here has actual proof, that I am aware of), R inventory is a relatively good indicator (but not necessarily exact) of I class availability (AP J rewards).
And this has nothing to do with EF per se... it's just that EF allows us to see these numbers, no different than the BCD Availability tool as per this thread's wiki.

Updated:
I just checked AC309 and AC33 for June 23 and at this juncture:

AC309 is R6
AC33 is R7
