AC/RG code-share?
Was looking at Air Canada's PDF timetable, and I was surprised to see Air Canada has begun code-sharing with VARIG via Sao Paulo to Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Rio, Porto Alegre, Salvador de Bahia.
I'm wondering that why didn't Air Canada made a special news release about this? In the past, Air Canada has been released some news about their newest code-share routes, like the recent NRT-BKK. |

I was hoping Varig would start a Sao Paulo-MIA-YVR service someday soon, with 5th freedom between MIA & YVR. YVR Marketing / InterVistas certainly worked on trying to make it happen in 1998-99.
