when was the last time...
you had the purser on your flight go down the aisle and personally introduce themselves to all the *G passengers onboard?
This happened last week on a UA flight I took - the purser was "cheating" off of her sheet, but it was very interesting that they would take the time to care not only about their own tier members, but of other FF program members as well. And i'm not just referring to business class pax either... I was sitting in coach. Yeah, yeah, it may not mean much to you, but having someone thank you in person for your patronage still counts in my book. It's called positive affirmation (as in, maybe my money DOES mean something to you) Would this type of customer service mean anything to you? Or am I out to lunch? |
As of a week ago, more than a few people told me that the concierge in HKG are writing personal notes to the SEs thanking them for flying AC.

My last two J class flights with LH from FRA, and my F class flight from MIA to ORD on UA in September.
As well, as the thank you card from concierge on my AC J class flight from YYZ to LHR in October. Cheers |
Having a purser coming to greet top tier members during flight have been a standard for a few other airlines like Cathay Pacific.
I'm actually only an AA Gold (OW Ruby), but I've been greeted by the purser personally on everything CX flight I've taken in the last 2 years! |
