Years ago. Nellie Furtado on her way from Toronto to L.A. to make her first recording. She was very young, and travelled in Business. We were back in Coach, but sat beside her personal assistant, and got to see Nellie collect her baggage (and sign autographs.)

In fact flying from Toronto to L.A. you have a good chance of seeing some kind of celeb. I've seen several, but I can't remember their names, actors mostly.

Why would an AC employee be a celebrity?

I'd argue that a mid-level AC employee would get more name recognition here than a mid-level movie star :p

Perhaps OP was being thoughtful and took into consideration the number of diehard AC devotees in FT. I do note that she was on the United, the airline that makes AC look good.

I'm more intrigued on how RangerNS knows what she looks like, from an AC employee standpoint. The only thing I can see is that this person was on the AC website before along with other exec pictures.

Later, she was one row up, across the aisle. I'm all out of book, her laptop was all the IFE I got. Ordering AC swag off Lands End while in the air. More curious. And sending emails with a 96 point signature. Ah, there it is.

Well, Majumder IS a comedian.

Neither Newfoundland or Toronto has a credible NHL team. Toronto at least has hats.

This thread is for noting Canadian "celebrity" sightings on AC on in MLL, not just Canadians who are celebrities spotted anywhere.

You, sir, are the sole person in Vancouver who feels so benevolent towards Messier. He helped destroy the Canucks when he was an Oiler and a Ranger. He completed the job when he joined the Canucks.

FWIW I hated seeing him in a Canucks jersey. I would count myself lucky to spot Mess in an MLL although hopefully under more pleasant circumstances.

Not at all. There was a legit VIP next to me with AC*VIP on the BP and the SD doted upon him and treated the other status members like regular J, including myself. It reminded me that AC*SM doesn't mean a whole lot. :p :D
