I did a double take and thought hmm... he looks less muscular (but still muscular) and more chunky (post-retirement chunky factor?).

Alberta's Lieutenant Governor was one the same flight--he got a lot more attention. Both from the concierge and the constabulary.

I imagine he/the NDP are saving the charter costs until closer to the actual election date in October. Save a few bucks to spend countering the attack ads

It's just temporary. The Conservative Party chartered Flair Air, but I suspect they'll switch to the usual AC A319 complete with party decals next month.
