I'm the guy in the red t-shirt.
My friend is in 12A, taking the photo.
Earlier in the flight, she stood up in 12B and changed. While 12A and C were occupied.
Oh did I say earlier in the flight? This was all before pushback.
OMG she just asked the FA if she could upgrade.

That could be the opening line to Quentin Tarentino type of film.
I feel for you. Your restraint is certainly more than I could have mustered, because I would have escalated this to a confrontation quickly. (And yes, I know, I am a bad boy.) Your calm is impressive.

But who cares.
I just wanna know if cow smelled some stale cottage cheese between the toes. Or maybe some tasty one-month-old Dijon mustard stains inside those jogging pants.
Or maybe his friend in 12A ended up doing some fart licking.
In all seriousness though... someone should have suggested that the 12B pax had a tray table to use. That might have helped everyone.

Okay same guy just opened a game on his phone with his volume on full during the safety video.
I started laughing, and the SD kept looking at him.
After ~15 seconds, he turned the volume down to 0.
Do retired pilots keep RAIC cards? I can't figure out this guy. He said he flies 767s. He was totally perplexed at how his iPad wasn't charging over USB and was shocked I would suggest plugging it in to the AC outlet.

Is your seatmate not wearing a pilot uniform with three or four stripes?

He has awesome shoes, great pants, a nice jacket, and a non-collared t-shirt.
If he was on the onload list, he was confirmed far in advance, as his seat has been occupied since I checked in. I'm pretty sure deadheads get seat assignments at the gate.
At this point, he's a great seatmate. Just an interesting one.

He fell asleep after dinner.
He just woke up. He threw is tablecloth and napkin on the ground, as he put his tray away.
For the record, while he was sleeping, the tablecloth may have been removable, but it could have woken him up. The napkin would not have been removable.
I was going to give him the benefit of the doubt, assuming he'd pick them back up.
Nope.
I definitely saw him log in to an AC pilot website, and his RAIC card says "PILOT", but otherwise, I'd assume he was either an executive, or a dick pax.
Well, I guess the latter can still be true.
Though I'm curious to see what happens when the SD sees the mess on the ground.
...
Wow it happened before I could finish the post and upload the photo. The SD bent down and picked them up.
So is the rule that uniformed pilots are better than upgraders in J, but "casual" pilots are not?

Thinking about this more, 739 was downgauged from a 763 to a 320.
So they may have had to deadhead a crew in. But since that flight was full, they may all be on 759 with me.
Which means this guy could be an active duty captain.
