When will we see the program.?
 

With only 6 weeks left of the flying year....when is AP going to come out with the new program.

RD promised to deliver the information early, 6 weeks is cutting it a bit fine.....I know some here have speculated on what it might be, but these are only rumours and ideas .....

Many of us are already planning flights for next year, I for one would like to know so I can plan my strategy.

I don't expect them any earlier than the absolute last possible date that would accomodate any promised dates he's suggested earlier. I think that means December 31.

But I wouldn't be surprised if it was closer to February 28.

The promise was to announce any major changes before the end of the year. Aeroplan has already done this (by annoucing that the program will pretty much remain the same). The program details should be communicated to members in early Jan.

That sounds fine to me provided that AE has given the assurances that no major changes will be coming.

After the PR disaster of last year, I think AC would be very wise to just come out with the program details. Just makes it seem like they are hiding thinsg even if they are not.

These details have been posted for two weeks now. There are no major, significant changes for next year. All benefits remain the same, at least, while there is still possibility of some enhancements and fine tuning to redress losses from this year. We have always had to await the program guide to get the full details, but the major elements have now been posted on the web and in the latest newsletter.
