No status, in Y, with a 4 hour layover?

Were they just bored, with no one better to drive?

Given that this is only for domestic to international in YYZ, I suppose it's possible, but... wow.

Aeroplan tickets are generally considered to be "revenue". Non-revenue would be staff travelling on a free pass.

Do you want to be ignored when you use your miles?

Even if they did, wouldn't that cheapen the product?*

AC will never be ahead of any real airline, but perhaps you are comparing them with Sunwing?

What didn't make his day, though, was the rogue flight that probably ruined all that

lol!

Ouch on rouge!

My guess is that the AC staff was either:
  1. Bored.
  2. Wanted to get an oppinion from another type of customer.

They are revenue tickets as AE does pay for them. One of these days, not sure when, people will be able to book a retail ticket at the same time as a reward ticket.

AC is, I believe, going to roll out a home pickup for J Pax in due time. I think there is lots going on in the background to make the international J service a lot better. Making money allows them to start ramping up better services as do other airlines.

Was transiting YVR > YYZ > CPH with a ~2-hour layover. S100K in J. No limo service for me I'm afraid.

Curious when/if they'll make this a standard benefit akin to F PAX at FRA or if it'll always be "luck of the draw" so-to-speak.
