Problem with phone line?

Anyone having issues calling Aeroplan (1-800 361-5373)? I've been trying to call numerous times over the last two days, but I keep receiving a busy tone no matter what time I call them (0700h to midnight). I emailed them but they say there is no issue. I do live in Nunavut which makes me wonder if it has anything to do with that.

Anyone else have problems?

Been trying for 2 days to get through by phone and then when I am ready to book on line....not able to. Can get to the page where it says "book" and it won't load. Frustrating. So can't call to complain and can't book!
Tried 3 different computers ...just in case but still nothing. Any suggestions?

None of those threads has a single post after ten days ago. Yesterday/today's phone line issue is different. It appears from Twitter that at least part of the problem is massive call volume for a promo and either not enough lines (busy signal) or a technical issue being exacerbated by the massive volume.

Since you posted in both threads, I'll give you the same answer

IMHO

They weren't supposed to be current. My point (which I OBVIOUSLY should have stated) was that the Aeroplan PROBLEMS are frequent enough that threads and posts appear.

It does NOT change my question:
Is this any way to run a business?

And, as I've asked the people at Aeroplan - if promos are launched by a business, one would have to expect some public interest, some additional participation AND (OMG) more calls, clicks whatever

I agree wholeheartedly that the call centre needs a revamp - no argument there. I just meant that there seems to me to be a separate problem that is not related to staffing (or at least not obviously).

I had exactly same thing, tried to book to business class class reward and the page won't load after hitting book, it works while i changed to economy class. called AP they didn't waive booking fee as they claimed their system works.

Any idea when this TD 2-1 promo ends? I need to call in to refund a reward booking (that for some reason can't seem to be done on line) and I have zero interest in re-trying a million times to get through... Thanks
