I think Jazz pilots are currently paid the same regardless of equipment. The DH1/3 pilots get the same as CRJ/A. At least I think they were at some point.

This is a way for Jazz to hold wages flying jets and yet pay the prop guys less. It has nothing to do with seating other than it'll get better with the refurb. A 50 seat DH3 is staying 50 seats.
