People who think they are better than others. For example a few times, I have heard people loudly and point at me saying "this is why I don't like the lounge passes. Parents just give it to their kids". For fun, sometimes I walk by them after with my E50K tag :P
Also in the evening when they run out of cookies (my fav part of the MLL)
And on the note of kids, lounges should have a kids area. TG, Qantas all do this and it's a much nicer environment for everyone.

That said, my kids know better than to be any louder than a whisper in the MLL or we leave.

30 or so of us had to traipse down the stairs yesterday after getting trapped up there - efforts to get the elevator going werent quick enough and our flights were all boarding. Fortunately one lounge agent didnt care about waiting for security escort - she just did it.

YYZ Dom is the absolute worst. I have no idea why. I've had to ask people to please turn down the YouTube video they were watching out loud at max volume on their phone so I could hear the person on the other end of the phone I was trying to have a (very short and muted) conversation with, and the shock and bewilderment on their faces makes me weep for humanity.

I would be very curious to see if there's a correlation to unsportsmanlike conduct in the business lounges and status. I suspect the correlation is negative (i.e. Family of 10 with flight in J to Santa Banana is more likely to be uncool versus the 100K SE who travels day in and day out).
In what respect? In terms of amenities, I would have to disagree with you there, considering there is a shower and other amenities I don't find in other DOM MLLs (i.e. a food platter).

There were some wonderful fellow travellers in the YYZ Domestic MLL over the weekend.
1. guy drops nachos on the floor and then picks them up and places them back on the counter next to the nachos bowl. Unreal.
2. facetime lady on handsfree. loved hearing the entire conversation in the work area.
3. two 20-somethings and their guide dog, err, emotional support dog spread out on the carpet and then barking. Is this even permitted in a MLL?

A lot of this annoying behavior would be curbed if the lounge agents actually walked thru sometimes and provided some polite 'guidance'. Its not really for us users to correct others in the lounge. I do not have to tell other patrons how to behave in a restaurant. I find they stay behind the check-in counter and the only staff wandering are the F&B staff who obviously are not going to correct behavior as thats not their role. Not looking for lounge police but a friendly CS agent would do nicely.
I have been in UC lounges and seen agents come up to people and tell them to remove their feet from the table and also to use the booths for loud calls.
