What are "Eligible Flights"

I'm sure this has been answered, but I can't find it, so I have to ask.

Not sure if this applies to levels lower than SE100 (I didn't look before), but as a new 100k member I noticed it and wanted an answer.

The 100% mileage bonus, I know my 75% and 50% mileage bonuses always showed up when the flights posted in my aeroplan account, at least for Air Canada.

"on eligible flights operated by Air Canada, AC Express, Rouge, Copa Airlines and United. Also earn a 25% bonus on eligible flights operated by Austrian, Brussels, Lufthansa and Swiss".

When I look around on the Aeroplan earning charts it never says anything about those bonus miles. It only refers to bonus miles based on class of service.

So my question for you all is, what flights are eligible? I flew Z class before Christmas and got my miles + class of service bonus. Flew S class coming back and have been credited my 50% miles based on ticket class, but didn't get any 100% bonus or anything. So is FULL fare business the only "eligible" flight? I know the 100% bonus applies to all my AC flights be it flex, business or tango. Seems to apply to none of the united flights.

Eligible flights are any ones earning points.
The bonus applies to base points only, not COS bonuses.
You should have received the bonus for your return flight.
However, these bonuses are only credited on the Sunday following posting
of the flight. Have you allowed enough time for your return flight?

As IluvSQ mentioned, United includes all eligible AQM flights - based on fare on the AP site.

https://www4.aeroplan.com/earn_miles...Partner=United

So let's say you went 2000 roundtrip on a Z class; 2000 base fare AQMs (100%) + 1000 COS AQMS (50% of base) + 2000 bonus non-AQM AE points (100% of base)

On the return, S only earns 50% mileage based on the AP site; 1000 base fare AQMs (50%) + 1000 bonus non-AQM AE points (100% of base)

One other item to note is that when a new year starts, occasionally there has been a delay in the 100% mileage bonus - depending on your previous / new status, as you choose your options.

Ok sounds good, thanks for the assist guys.

I swear I didn't get any bonuses last year from United being e50 then e75. I know I didn't get any on my Z fare flying down there on Dec 24. I just got the COS bonus. Maybe it's not offered for 50k/75k but I thought the verbage was the same.

I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled in the next week or two. I flew on Jan 10/11/12 so it's a bit early to expect the bonus yet, but these were all econ fares so there'll be no COS bonus to possibly confuse me. I always get the AC ones, but I swear I've never seen a UA bonus. That's why I assumed I was buying "ineligible" fares since on UA I always pay for the cheapest bucket.

You sure you had selected the bonus miles option when you picked your choices last year?

I'm 100% sure I did on the 50k benefits, I'm 99% sure that I did on the 75k benefits.

I remember getting them all the time on the AC flights I take, but I don't think I've ever gotten one from UA.
