I thought you had been on this forum long enough to hear the laments of people getting upgrade certs and e-credits that were expiring in the near future (receive in Nov/Dec and expire end of Feb) and being slammed by AC for daring to ask for an extension. As a matter of fact, many people were hoping that with the advent of e-credits, it might be easier to extend them than the paper certs, but apparently this is beyond AC's IT capabilities. |

... I live in Halifax... ... But Im going to be hauling butt on UA a lot to Singapore. Its just cheaper and frankly the connection is better (hard to miss connect when you come in on the aircraft going to SIN...) Im thinking it might be nice to upgrade. And as P1K when I do go domestic USA (not so often) an upgrade should be pretty easy for USA Canada - after all are they not unlimited? I also don't think it would impact my ability to choose the ANA lounge in Tokyo over the crowded UA lounge as they are both *G. Note that EWR-YHZ is on a plane with no J and only 3 (or 1, I forget) E+ seats. I'm not sure about ORD-YHZ.
