Tango Availability

I've got my 20% coupon I want to use for a flight this winter. I don't have status on AC and my flight dates are set in stone so I'm perfectly happy with Tango. Problem? Tango flights aren't an option on one of my days. Does anyone who watches flights more closely than I do have an idea of how often they add new Tango availability to flights? I know from price watching that Tango has been disappearing and reappearing on different flights.

No doubt, with thousands of Tango giveaway discounts now, Tango is being reduced so as to minimize the chance of using such discounts.

What else would you expect?

What's the flight/date? I can have a look. We aren't artificially reducing inventory as a result of this promotion.

With Tango encompassing the bottom 5+ fare classes, I doubt thats the case.

Besides the 20% discount is laughable. On a $1000 ticket to Europe - 20% is $50 according to AC math.

You might want to post your cities and dates for some creative feedback on routings. You might also want to book one way on Tango as in most cases there is no discount on a round trip. You can then wait for Tango to show up or book flex on AC or another carrier altogether.

There is currently a promo "2015Savings" code that only applies to Tango. I was awesomely amazed last night when I went to book two YYZ - YUL one-ways for a Mini-RTW positioning flight that got us to Dorval for $103, with another $11 to select seats.

Every flight on my chosen day had the cheapest Tango seats I've seen in months, even before the promo discount. So no "Tango availability" issues for this lad!
