Cheese in the MLL

Scrolling back in time, I found Cheese in the MLL.

This is in LAX. Sure, I know what you're thinking "that's not a MLL" Well, it is and it was and this was Sept 2015. Great food options, plenty of seating in the former NZ.

But wait, these photos are from 3 different trips covering lunches and a breakfast in April 2016

Oh look, cheese !!!!!!

And those brownies, and that raisin bread and the salads and the sandwiches and..and...

Great, so this show's they know what a good job is and can actually do it. So how do we get them to do it again and consistently?

I've been in the LAX MLL twice and never again - both times the offerings included:

1. a variety of 'mini' muffins (basically muffins about the size of a finger nail)
2. plain white yogurt cups with lots of sugar
3. orange juice and water
4. sliced bread with butter and jelly
5. some bananas and apples
6. one or two minor celebrities - one US celebrity I knew, and the others are all Canadians I never saw or heard of before, but given all the fluttering around them, I assume they are well known in Canada?

Needless to say, I now skip both the UC and MLL and just go to the *A lounge over in Bradley which has a full hot food buffet for all meals with extensive selections and I can work it all off jogging back to T7/8.

I know. I am not in LAX that often but if I have the time, I too head over to the TBIT Star lounge - way way better. Last time I was in LAX before my red eye, no muffins but they had one distressed salad and cookies. I much preferred it when the MLL used to be the ANZ lounge.

Thanks. I think they hid the (limited) food when I was there.

I, too, vividly recall the offerings in the LAX MLL. Pictures are accurate. I guess easy come, easy go. So unfortunate.

I did not, but I assume it's similar to other outstations:

soup, plated salads, dip/chips, cookies
