2MMuffintop Supplement

I just OD'd on Salted Caramel Häagen-Dazs bars in the YUL Dom MLL.

Goes well with JW Black.

I'm not interested in adopting a Pet Peever from the SPCA/Inhumane Society.

Oh, and why has the truffle/arugula lunch pizza in the MLLs been so "cardboardy" for the last 1.5 years?

I was expecting a change up, but it's still the same 'ol same 'ol.

Last time I had some of that flatbread (I refuse to call it pizza) was in the YUL TB lounge last week and it had peaches on it. That was unexpected. But the crust was still cardboardy.

I really don't like that lounge compared to the international one, but the haagen dazs fridge makes up for it!!

I had the Thai chicken curry soup for lunch yesterday for what had to have been the 142nd time. Whomever does the domestic MLL food lineup for AC is not fond of change.

Yeah, it's not pizza. Sorry to all the pizzas that I've insulted!

Nobody likes the YUL Dom MLL. It's a dump. In fact, it's a dump's dump. Yep, the poop took a poop and out came the MLL.

FWIW both YUL and YYZ Dom MLLs today had Italian Wedding... I always like to see how many meatballs I can dig out.

Thai chicken soup

Strangely enough, I actually like the Thai chicken soup in the MLL. Does anyone know where it's sourced from?

Are you talking about Tom Kha Gai? It has a coconut milk base with pieces of chicken. I had it in the Signature Suite a few weeks back and really liked it. No idea where it's sourced from though.

It really isn’t bad and I’m pretty sure I’ve had the same soup at a few delis in Vancouver so I assume it is some Sysco product (or equivalent). Good bet that it is the Campbell’s mentioned above

Yeah, I kinda like it too, and it seems to be showing up more often these days (outside of the YVR domestic lounge, where I think it's been near-constant for years). I'm pretty sure it's not the Campbell's, though -- that version seems to have pieces of stuff in it, while the MLL version is mostly tasty goo!
