3 hops to BKK on reward, 3 airlines...luggage checked all the way through?
So I have a reward I'm eagerly waiting for, just two weeks away: yyz-lhr-fra-bkk, flying AC, LH, and TG respectively.
I know it's all *A, but the fact that AC doesn't play nicely with other *A members in their online bookings, makes me wonder if I'll only be checked as far as LHR or FRA before I have to get my luggage and check in again. For example, on AC site, I can reserve only the AC seats, but on the Thai site, I can change both LH and TG seats, but not AC.
I may be fretting over nothing.

As long as these are all connections and not stops you'll be fine. I had a bag checked NEV-IST-DXB-SIN-BKK-HKT with some long layovers and the bag showed up in Phuket just fine!! Miracles do happen...this one needed 2 bag tags too

I probably won't mind checking out then back in at Frankfurt (9 hour layover), but the thought of navigating Heathrow's security lines and passport control on a 3 hour layover, even if it is the same terminal, makes me queasy.

Thanks! I should have called my reward in rather than book online. I'd relish the chance to do a near 24 hour layover in London, or proper overnight in Frankfurt. Next time....
