Also, when the agent calls for Zone 1 boarding and you see more passengers lined up in Zone 1-2 lanes than the amount of J class seats available.
Which airport/flight?

Much to our chagrin.

Zones 3, 4 and 5: General boarding (back to front).
I know most of you have status, so you won't necessarily be able to answer this question - But has the mechanism for getting into Zone 3 been decoded yet?

On United, booking a window seat towards the very rear of the plane will usually get you Zone 3. Does the same apply on AC?

(Apologies in advance if this question has already been answered upthread - I didn't have time to review the 4000 other posts )

It's general back to front meaning all seats back to front... there is no "WILMA"-type (or similar) boarding on AC.

Do you get Zone 2 boarding on a Comfort fare?

The answer may be right in front of me, but I can't seem to find it.

I seem to recall that when Comfort was introduced, they announced Zone 2. However there was unhappiness in some quarters and they quickly changed to Zone 3.
