Simple routing over MPM?

I didnít expect MPM to be an issue but the first agent I spoke to said I could not book WAW-YYZ-YVR-ANC as an award as this was over. There are very few routings with the first connection being in North America that seemingly worked, ie. WAW-ORD-ANC seemed Ok. I want to avoid surcharges and wanted to use Lot to YYZ. AC will sell a revenue tkt over the desired routing and I think that was an exception to enforcing MPM (published routing). Can anyone offer any assistance with this?

Apparently the YYZ routing is 100 miles over MPM....very frustrating as ORD-ANC non-stop is basically NEVER available for redemption.

The MPM from BDA-PER is interesting, a whopping 20444! Are there any data points for people who have booked this. You can come up with quite the complex routing to get to PER with so many miles to work with

Is the consensus that the MPM reported on the javascript is accurate and followed exactly? I am looking at this for my return and it is 16221 on gcmap vs 16210 YYZ-MEL mpm.

YHZ-YYZ I'm regularly screwed out of collecting 1 mil.

So I wouldn't trust anything but the (possibly impossible to access) source of truth <1%.

Request for MPM check

I'm trying to bokk an one-way ticket from YXU to KSC. I tried to book a YXU-YYZ-ORD-IST-VIE-KSC route via the call centre. The agent told me that she's unable to book that. She said it could be over the MPM. Would be somebody able to find the MPM for the YXU-KSC route?
Thanks in advance.

There's some chatter on PoT Elites that MPM has recently been devalued ("decreased" would be a better way to put it). Not sure if I'm allowed to link the social media post (might be a closed group), so I'll quote the relevant information here without personal details:
Looks like aeroplan has decreased the MPM between cities after the miles sale, so people would book more direct. I was just told that the MPM for NYC-PER is 13600. It used to be 18000+. So my seg-seg route was deemed invalid after 2 hours when a 15500 miles route was over the MPM. 🤷🏽‍♂️
Again had a very nice chat with a knowledgeable agent about various things but most importantly she confirmed that NYC-PER = 13900
YYZ-PER = 13616
LAX-PER = 11200

Incase anyone want to try booking and check and has a positive DP. Please let the group know.
All from the FB group if you want to check it out youself. OP did HUCA but no dice.

I did some quick flight searches on aeroplan.com this morning and using the method to determine MPM for YYZ-PER and EWR-PER, the javascript MPM still shows 18k+

I played around online and also called in. The phone rep also told me the MPM was ~13,000 for EWR-PER.

Online, I was able to get the multicity tool to return and let me book EWR-BOG-PER-EWR (simplified of course) which is a 17,000 mile routing on the outbound side. I'm theorizing AP might have reduced the MPM when booking by phone, but we'll see what other information we get in the next little bit.

Aligned with the true MPM figure that one would find on EF.

Whaaaaat is going on with the MPM? I've been using the javascript method for years, with near perfect results. I called in this morning and got SHOT DOWN.

HKG-LIS (javascript result showed 11,298, generous, but reasonable enough to not think it's a mistake) the agent on the phone quoted me 8,516 almost 3,000 miles lower. So as a data point I asked her for CDG, javascript shows 9,850 and the agent quoted me 7,900.

She also told me that she hadn't heard of the second stopover ever coming back. I know agents aren't the first ones in the know a lot of the time, AC has mentioned they'd bring that back in the past, but I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'll believe it when I see it and if I see that it's not a Super Elite giveback of some sort.

If they've sliced 20-25% of the maximum mileage permitted, it seriously hurts the value of the miles for me. I wanna have stopovers in random cities, I wanna fly specific products even if they take me out of the way.

NEW: HKG-CDG 7,900
NEW: HKG-LIS 8,516

Edit (forgot): She DID tell me they're allowed to go over the MPM a bit, presumably 5%? That's what it was a while back wasn't it? Honestly I preferred to just have a higher standard and a fixed number and not being able to exceed it. At least then I didn't have to just cross my fingers when calling in. I got zero pushback btw on selecting the flights myself, and zero hold time at 730EST so those are plusses.
