There was availability on a direct LGA-YOW flight in Y early in the morning but would have meant getting kids up at 4am after arriving at 22:15 TATL. In any case I get to visit all 3 NYC airports for this trip.
The good news is that the swap on the 1st leg from AC J to UA Y resulted in a $252.48 drop in fees per person (despite adding an extra AC J leg at the end).
The original itinerary was $991.05 + 33.90 per person ... now $738.57 + 33.90 (plus the 90+tax change fee).

Been on hold for 40 minutes with Aeroplan. Maybe FT'ers can answer the question. Anyone know if this route is possible?

Just came back from the following trip last night. This was booked only a day before departure.
YUL-YYZ, AC J A333
YYZ-LAX, AC J B763, overnight in Los Angeles
LAX-ICN, OZ F A388, overnight in Seoul
ICN-NRT, UA Y B738 (ugh)
NRT-BKK, TG F A388, stopover in Bangkok
BKK-USM, TG Y B734, destination Koh Samui
USM-BKK, TG Y B734
BKK-HKG, TG F B744
HKG-FRA, LH F A388, 12 hours in the FCT and took advantage of the Porsche deal
FRA-CDG, LH J A321, stopover in Paris
CDG-MUC, LH J A320
MUC-ORD, LH F A346
ORD-YUL, AC J E175
Total of 215,000 AP miles + around 1,100$CAD in taxes. Well worth it IMO ^
Took 3 agents 6 hours to figure out the taxes and get this ticketed. I was getting quite nervous that I would get this ticketed on time. Fortunately all was well with the ticket and I had a amazing time - A lot of flights but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would do it again tomorrow!

Just a heads up, I might of posted this in the wrong version of this thread. Just in case I'll post it here too.
First time trying this... was wondering if anybody can confirm if either of these are valid or not. I made one and my gf made one. We live in ottawa but can depart from toronto or montreal. I chose toronto tos tart.
My GF and I want to hit up 4 separate countries on the itinerary. Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia (this itinerary has them in that order).
We also have 3 layovers in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo, although the Tokyo one is quite short (10:30). I've checked availability and all these flights are available.
And here is hers:
Thanks to anyone who can help!
Sidenote: Is the 10 flight maximum still in effect?

Of course don't take my advice as I have an open question in another thread asking about booking open-jaws in mini-RTWs.

Thanks for responding! Is the turnaround not the "destination"? So you can have 2 stops along with a destination or 1 stop + destination + 1 open jaw.
