Pretty sure I saw it on my last Eastbound TATL flight which was in Dec. 2019.

Random side note and maybe this needs a new thread?

Has the hot towel service been discontinued.

Didn't get it on 127/33/38/106 the last two weeks

Wonder if this has something to do with COVID-19 precautions...possibly not wanting to collect potentially contaminated towels?

Garlic bread was both overdone and cold today on 829. Impressive feat.

No hot towels on 829 today either, although two alcohol wipes were provided pre-flight.

No hot towels on 825 today either. Confirmed with the SD that this is based on new policy in response to COVID19. Wet wipes were available upon request (but you had to know to ask for them).

Interesting. On 829 there were two laid out at each occupied J pod when we boarded. That was also the case on 138 last Friday, but not 418 or 892 same day. Perhaps they would have been available on request on those as well.

Feeling nostalgic for my AC TPACs , thought it would a be good time to post the photos from the second of 2 HKG trips.

Menus were the same as a few days prior on the same flights, as in post 2675 just upthread

AC 15 YYZ-HKG February 2020

I don't eat the breads ex-Canada but photo anyway

Yup, shellfish still chasing me. Photo and return to sender.

Slightly different piece than the previous flight, more fat at the edges and some sort of sprinkles. Galley talent on this AC 15 not nearly as great as the previous one.

Meat still tasty.

As noted, I like this dessert. Nice flavours and textures.

Private cellar

Mid-flight snack

I don't like AC's idea of breakfast served prior to an afternoon arrival in Asia. I've posted photos from when AC served a proper pre-arrival meal on these flights (loved the rice stir-fry chicken).

The omelette and other options are not my thing, so I just have these left-overs. Much better.

AC 16 HKG-YVR February 2020

After departure drinks

I ordered the Vegetarian Oriental, so photos are here

https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/32203004-post562.html

There were 2 new cheeses ex-HKG and as the Galley FA noted, the description didn't match the taste, but bonus, not orange Canadian cheddar.

Loved this on the previous trip.

Pre-arrival

Awesome, thanks !!

The regular menu offerings.

Maybe it's just the sexy champagne shots, but this is making me somewhat nostalgic for airline food.

I didn't get a good enough variety of meats when stocking and find myself eating chicken breast five times a week now. I could go for the lobster and orzo, or better yet, the braised veal... but I don't miss the oatmeal for breakfast. At all.
