Is AC rolling out a christmas menue for Dec 22-31? There are no menues posted for my flight (AC845, 28th Dec, FRA-YYC)...or is that normal? Just started flying with AC recently, previously I was only on LH.

At least during the last ~10 years I've been flying AC regularly, AC has not had a special Christmas menu.

Christmas-themed menus aren't a normal thing on AC. You might, however, experience some special Xmas fare in the FRA MLL as AC often (but not always) does this (thanksgiving, Easter, etc.)

Then I shall wait and see what AC will serve onboard - a surprise can be nice as well. Thank you both!

Please report back.
I don't know if it's still done but not too long ago on TATLs they used to give us large Lindt chocolate Easter bunnies (with a bell around the neck) in J, usually waiting at our seats when we boarded (when Y boarding was not at L1, IIRC, otherwise it was handed out to J pax at a later point).

Added: I forgot to explicitly state that this was only during the period just before and just after Easter... not an ongoing thing!

Regarding the bunnies, I'm sure it was obvious, but that was only for during Easter.

So maybe you'll get a chocolate Santa or something.

AC 15 YYZ-HKG December 2018

If you're fast, the menu for Dec 10 is the same as today and next week, so you can look on AC.com.

This is today's (Dec 13) and is the same that was on my flight.

These are the photos I took since I ordered a SPML.

Bubble time.

Empty bottle.....FA went to get another....

Ah, there we go

Love the bubble-porn

LOL. Couldn't find a matching skin tone color to edit out my ring and I forgot to remove the ring before taking the photo.

I could always edit and put an emoji there instead.

Menus are back on AC website. Only until 21st though. Hopefully they will be updated for next month too.

For those that care, I was disappointed to learn on AC846 (YYZ-MUC) on Dec 17 that almond milk is no longer offered in J.

Finally, an awesome dessert worthy of the Air Canada: Cake..on a Plane thread

On my recent AC 8 HKG-YVR, there was this fantastic almond cake. It was layered with a bit of a sweet filling in between but the topping was all sliced almonds and something sweet. I fell asleep on boarding and when I woke up mid-flight, there was almond cake left over from the meal service and the SD offered.

And for some unknown reason, 24left forgot to take a photo. So, if anyone is on AC 8 and sees that cake, please post a photo.
