AC47/48 - J service domestic, or int'l

Just a quick question, for those in the know

Riding up front AC 47... will J service be similar to domestic J, or international J (i.e. really, I kinda wonder if I'm getting a champagne to start?)

I suspect domestic J but wanted to double check

Thanks,
l.

Being a transborder flight, you'll get North American (domestic) J service. Nothing special about it flying over the ocean, flight times are similar to YUL-LAX and so service is too.

haha yes, I meant pods with champagne, as opposed to pods with water and OJ, the latter of which is what we experienced on a 763 (outbound was delayed due to late inbound from PVG... so same bird, just no amenity kit or four course meal)

Sad that this route is getting rouged, but Mrs. lowdown and I were happy to enjoy the last of the pods and the end of an era on this YVR-HNL sector

I'm on AC48 shortly... delayed a bit since inbound AC47 is delayed.
Is this AC48 the last non-rouge flight?

Anyway, what is the J meal service for AC48 - dinner or pre-arrival breakfast?

Just flew these 2 weeks ago - 6A both directions. Definitely domestic.
You get a choice of water or orange juice to start.
Looking at my dinner menu photo, there were 3 choices: chicken, salmon and pasta. comes with bread roll, salad, wine and that cappuccino cake.

Sometime later, basket of chips, chocolate bars.

You might want to check your dates as these flights will be Rouged in December, see link

For those who are not SE thinking of flying AC J internationally, you are NOT entitled to Concierge service for the domestic J portion of your international trip. You are only entitled to Concierge service when you arrive at the airport of your departing international flight. For example, YYZ-YVR-PEK, your Concierge service entitlement begins at YVR, not YYZ and even that YMMV if you answer "No, I am not SE" to the usual opening question of the Concierge agent.

If anyone is still interested, service on 48 is breakfast.

And it looks to me as though rouge starts on the route Fri Nov 21.
