C-FITU (Fin 732) is scheduled to go to LHR tonight, but I haven't seen a flight plan for GSO-YYZ. Watching close and will update wiki if it happens.

Which seats would you recommend on a 28J 77W for 4 Pax in J, with one not speaking English (or French) and so needing some assistance? At the moment we have 1DG/2DG reserved, but I'm wondering if 1GK/2GK or even 1K/2K/3K/4K might be a better choice as you can't lower the separation in the middle.

I think 1GK/2GK is best for a group that wants to talk. Otherwise I'd pick all K so that everyone has a window.

777 J class from SYD-YVR

Trying to book a J class between SYD-YVR on the 777.
Are all the 777 now converted to the new J class.
Will I guarantee to the new J class rather then pods?
thanks

My flight on AC851 had equipment change from the B789 to the 77L. Is the product worse (=should I try to rebook to the Dreamliner?). There was a schedule change on the connecting flight so I would be able to re-route for free.
Flying with +1, we seem to have seats 1G/1K.
At least the 77L should have the Executive Pod, right? Will the wall between the seats be disturbing? Flew AA and the wall was ok there.

Except maybe 5 of the 450-seat 77Ws (fins 743-747). I'm not sure if they upgraded the entertainment system when fitting business class.

Has anyone noticed this weird bumper thing attached to the wall. Didn't take a picture the last time I saw it, but it's attached to the wall to the side of a pod, immediately above the adjustable armrest.

I swear it wasn't there before, and now I hit my arm on it frequently as it juts into the pod space rather than sits flush with the wall surface. I'm pretty sure I would have noticed it before as it's one ugly brown crap that makes the whole pod look like a carnival ride. Did someone ram their butt into an unpadded wall during takeoff or something, precipitating this addition?
