FIUL is due out tomorrow (off to PVG) and FIVR should be taking its place. Leaving only 1 77W flying with the old pods.

Naturally, the one time in like a year that I actually end up on a 777, I get the last one with the old pods.

That's a good thing, the old pods have more space.

Two of my last three trips in those pods, I got one that wouldn't stop randomly inflating and deflating the whole flight.

Can't wait to see them gone.

Presumably either 732 or 741 will head down to GSO shortly, and then there will only be one 77W(42J) left with pods.
Fin 734 flew back from GSO to Toronto this morning, and looks to be off to Shanghai this afternoon.

And 741 just took off for GSO.

As this refurb comes to a close, has anyone seen any details on where/when the 333s go in?

Sure, they're supposed to be getting the new J in the (current) forward J cabin whole the current mini-J cabin is getting PE. Y is not being touched per my understanding.

The other part that has got me wondering is the fact that 743 has been at YMX for 20 days now. If, as we suspect, they are doing the first HD conversion to the 28J-seat cabin, they must be getting ready to come out soon. I know the first one will likely be long because of the learning curve, but hopefully they should be done soon (so we can get confirmation that they were actually dong the conversion).

From the annual report:
Air Canada will also be reconfiguring its fleet of eight Airbus A330-300 aircraft to allow the airline to compete more effectively and to offer customers the option of its new Premium Economy cabin. Conversion of the Airbus A330 aircraft is expected to begin in the second half of 2016 for completion during the first quarter of 2017.
I assume we'll create a similar tracking thread, so am hoping their is some internal insight into time as so we can start

I'm glad they have this enabled. I think we should all start signing in with our FT handles

No drink ordering though

Hmmmmm.... That quote makes me wonder if they'll update the J cabin to the "Dream" standard or just swap the current mini-J cabin for a few rows of PE.

Thanks for digging up the quote!

Perhaps put "ft-" in front of it so you can search people out?
