last week YYZ-EZE -- old pods (I still like them)
weekend EZE-YYZ -- new pods OK but a little cramped sleeping on my side, like the seat comfort though as well as space for things and big screen (SOOOO much better).

Has anyone tried 1A/K? If so, is the window situation better than with the old pods, or is it still a poor choice (i.e. less windows) vs. the other window seats? I've been looking at the photos that have been posted but its not entirely clear...

I'm on AC137 YYZ/YVR tomorrow. Scheduled as 77WHD, but looks like it has been subbed to be the first flight for refurbished FIN 737. Again, increases my chances of an upgrade- as long as the gate agents process properly :-)

Sorry to disappoint but it looks like 737 is currently doing a FRA turn, then operating YYZPEK tomorrow. You're still HD J/2

As I walked around looking at the new cabin (second time on a refurb fin), I was quite sure I counted 7 in rows A and K, but only 6 in D G. In the mini-J, A and K have 3 and D G have 4
Looked to me like 7 A K had a bit more privacy in the corner.

Very good eye. This was actually the second time it's happened on one of my TPACs.
What you see are the PE amenity kits.
Thing is, both times when I saw them during boarding and getting to my J pod, I told the SD and/or the FA who was nearby.
In both cases, the responses I got from the crew were argumentative and almost rude. We all know what AC's J kits look like. I've had crew tell me those are the right kits. If I'm in the mood for a battle, I show them a photo.
Eventually, I find a crew member with enough experience who knows I'm right and agrees the wrong kits were put out and then goes and gets the bag with the J kits.
Was it a lazy person who put out the PE ones?
Was it a crew member who really doesn't know the difference between the two?
Who knows. But does it really make sense to argue with a customer who likely flies the routes more than they do?
And yes, FWP.
But since it bugged me, I provided the detailed answer.

The current AC amenity kits, either in J or PE have been the same for a while now... I wish they can update them soon, they are getting old and dull, compare to what United offers in First and Business:

Thanks. Surprising that they would put this in J, unless someone forgot to load them in the first place and they had to take the ones from PE...

Glad to see they're improving.
Edit: This is what I had in GF:

When I flew ORD-HKG in J with UA early November 2015, they had the new amenity kits. They are really nice
