Waved into the MLL?
 

The last couple times I've entered YYZ TB, the agent hasn't taken my BP or asked for my card, and has just waved me in.

Meanwhile, other people are having their BP scanned, and some get their card swiped.

The only thing I can think of is that I'm wearing a FT t-shirt. But that doesn't make any sense :confused:

Any ideas?

'Never happened to me... Presumably the agent has just recognised you from frequent visits?

That's my sense as having met the OP it's not a case of DYKWIA. Just MHO.

Same (minus the having met the OP part). Back when I ate at the uni cafeteria for every meal, they recognised me and just started waving me in every time. It's likely the same thing.

...I wonder if I can go back without having to pay :D

I'm sorry if this thread came off the wrong way. I'm genuinely interested in the answer, because...

I rarely visit YYZ TB. My final destination is almost always SFO, and I hate direct flights :p. If it were YVR DOM/TB, or even YYZ DOM, I'd understand, but this just doesn't make sense.

Exit elevator. Proceed towards desk. Get waved in. Orient forward movement slightly to the left. Use MLL facilities. Leave when done. Board flight.

Couple generally means "two". It was the last two times. I've been in that lounge three times in the past six months.

It's not really a "gift horse" if I have legitimate access anyway.

The "gift" being granted in your situation was the modest time-saving courtesy of not having to stand in a queue and show your credentials to confirm your "legitimacy".

I hope you enjoyed your time in the lounge.
