I'm simply amazed/loss of words at AC's insane run-up since May 2017, or even last 3 days (+15%). Momentum is so strong since they raised the guidance, then ER, then Investor Day
52 week $10 to $27.xx, wow
Obviously hindsight is 20-20 and why did I ever sell ..
or switch to US airlines, which have fallen hard since their mid-July highs

But if you based your investment strategy on butthurt low yield FT posters and AC rouge outcries, then shame on you! You should've known better and have been warned!
Speaking of which, I wonder if Jack bought his puts. H
If he did, he probably got a lot of margin calls in the last few weeks lol

The point of buying lotto puts is again, for the sake of "Lotto", hence the word "Lotto".
To answer your question, I didn't end up buying the Jan 2018 exp ones as I was too busy finding a job last couple of weeks , but still looking at Jan 2019 exp 15 Put for now.
But even If I had, please explain the concept of margin call to illustrate how I can lose much more than the 100 bucks I spent on buying those puts

Q3 report out tomorrow. Any speculation, purely speculation, on what the numbers might be and the effect it may have on stock price?
For reference stock price was below $20 prior to Q2 release and the price subsequently moved up to ~$26 (a 30% increase) in the following weeks.
