Current Fare Class Map?

Is there a current map of fare classes between United and AC?

Not that I know of. Mapping the premium booking classes is fairly easy but mapping the Economy booking classes with AC's Latitude, Flex and Tango nightmare makes this exercise almost impossible.

Is there any particular UA booking class on an AC flight you are looking at? Perhaps fellow FT members can help from their own experience.

Given that AC "removed" booking classes P/E/N, I think they all line up now. Except UA P is equivalent to AC Z, and UA E is not equivalent to AC E.

The issue is that my partner (coworker type as opposed to life... not that that makes a difference) purchased an early mileage run addition to their last trip. They purchased L via UA. AC apparently changed it to K and they got hit by the tango-ness of K. It is painful indeed to spend $2k to get to Calgary and discover you have been tango'd.

If you look at the AC booking classes and UA booking classes, you'll see that they're all pretty much in the same order. So, unfortunately, it looks like your partner would be in AC K.

Have you tried this page...

Ah, but that's just it... L was the purchase, not K. K is the interloper.

Yes, of course we have. But the page doesn't map. So given L=L... there should have been 100% miles, not 25% miles.

AC is the first airline to bring in the rest of the world's approach to mileage, giving greatly reduced points for the vast array of low end fares. I think this infection will spread.
