Most vile snack ever

Travelled AC 417 today YUL-YYZ, they served a "snack"in J class.
It was some sort of inedible salad/couscous thingy - I could only identify
some pieces of corn in there - took one bite and spit it out.
It was accompanied by a hot wrap - I cut it open and was met by
this awful stench - I didn't dare put one bit in my mouth.

Every pax within my line of sight returned it uneaten.

The FA said it was called a "burrito" - that did not smell like any burrito
I have ever eaten.

Where do they get these things from? Bring back the stale cheese and cracker plate - even that was preferable to this mess.

I had this on a YYZ-LGA a few weeks back. Literally the worst piece of garbage I have ever tasted. I finished the corn/couscous thing (frigid cold btw) because I was famished but couldn't get past the first burrito bite.

The guy who picks meals and wines for AC should be fired with prejudice

OP, be sure and complain to AC on their website. Here is a link. I haven't had that, thankfully, but I have had some pretty terrible food lately. Without reading the menu close enough, I ordered tenderloin and found it came with sweet potato which I really dislike.

Got a call back tonight from customer service in response to the email form that
I completed last night that basically repeated my original post above.

First, I compliment them on the fast follow-up ( I wonder if the SE/MM helped in
that regard), and the fact that I got a phone call rather than the usual form letter.

Of course she apologized, and offered me a 10% discount code.
I told her we would all be better off if they just removed this item from the menu.

Kudos to AC on the prompt response.

Proof of the miracle will be if the vile snack does get removed. So far the solution has just been a phone call and a one-off 10% go-away code.

They offered to make the portion size 10% smaller. I guess that's a start.

And its still there!
Flew AC 419 YUL-YYZ yesterday, was served the same snack.
This time it was called a chicken wrap.
Same stench on cutting it open,

Yuck!
