Australia to YOW - any ideas/suggestions?
Hello FT Gurus
I managed to get Mrs Trent on 461/33 on 29 April from YOW to SYD in J, so happy with that routing and timings.
At the time of booking, I was only able to get:
BNE to BKK to LHR to YYZ to YOW in J and F (BKK to LHR) on 19 May.
While this is better than other routings it is a huge milk run.
Does anyone have any other routing suggestions back from Australia with the following parameters:
1) Flight could be from BNE, MEL and SYD etc.
2) Dates are flexible, anywhere from 18 May to 22 May would work.
3) Booking in J or F (a short hop could be in Y).
Thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry I wasn't very clear, but my booking is on points (185K) and I was looking for award seat ideas for Australia to YOW that are better than what I have right now.

I took a quick look today and I did not find any options over the pacific. There was one seat in AC34 but it was in Y.

I would rather fly QF/CX/JL/KE/CA/NH given a choice (revenue).
For points, I would look at CA/UA-both of which are scamcharge free across the Pacific given there is a published route (for CA)
NZ is a good option too BUT I space can be tough to get.
For UA/an itin with US cities they will need ESTA assuming AU citizen
