*FAQ:
Q: On the 787-9 (789), which seats in J are missing windows?
A: Rows 5 and 8 on both port and starboard sides have only one window, instead of two on all other port/starboard J seats.
Q: On the 787-8 (788), which seats in J are missing windows?
A: Only row 5 port and starboard sides have zero windows.
Q: Does the middle J seats' middle divider come down?
A: No, on the 788 and 789 the middle divider does not come down and is fixed in place. In fact, all Dream Cabin (788, 789, 77L, 77W) middle dividers are fixed and do not come down.

There are all-J A319s used for Jetz. I doubt they could make it to Dubai nonstop though.

On the 900, can row 18 have the bassinet?
Seatguru shows 800 has the hookups in each triplet in row 18. But not on the 900? Is that accurate?
TIA.

Seatguru is NOT always accurate. You should instead look at Air Canada's own cabin layout

Just flew on a 787 there and back. Row 31 in the middle is still preferred and does have extra legroom as its bulkhead. But its annoying when staff and passengers use it as a lane to cross from one aisle to the other. Even more annoying when they use your screen as a support or stamp your feet.

AC has found a new use for duct tape...
For a while, we had threads going about how AC interiors were being held together by duct tape. When I saw this 788 at YUL yesterday, it made me thing that it now looks like they are using it to hold the windscreen.

Anyone know why AC puts a bassinet in row 31 when that's an exit row and can't have infants?
I thought that infants might be ok in the middle set.... but those seats don't show as available when I do a test booking with a child... so I don't think infants are allowed in there.
Strange?

@24left and I had the pleasure of driving by FIN 859 (C-FVNF) on the Everett Flightline on Saturday while doing the Boeing tour. This is AC's last 789 on order. Gorgeous and shiny, of course. Unfortunately, cameras/phones were not allowed on the tour but the best I can do is share this (low-quality, zoomed-in, crappy weather) picture taken from my room at the Hilton Garden Inn adjacent to Paine Field.
There she is, tucked in behind two KC-46 Pegasus tankers!

Hi all,
First time poster, long time lurker. I read the wiki post and trawled through most of this thread but wanted to make sure I understand correctly...
I'm flying AC844 YYC to FRA in PE, currently on a 787-9. Here I'm hoping to snag a seat in 14.
On the return AC845 FRA to YYC, it is on a 777. So, this means that 14 will have limited recline due to proximity with the bulkhead, correct? So, 13 would be a better selection.
Thanks all!
