Business Class + Elite Points?

Business Class + Elite Points?
A business class ticket gives you a 50% mileage bump. If you already have elite status, you also get a bump. 35K gives you 25%. How would you compute points when a 35K buys a business class ticket?

The 50% mileage credit is AQM's. The Tier bonus credit (35-50-75-100k) is just Aeroplan points. So a biz ticket gets you 150% AQM and 135% Aeroplan points. No?

If you fly 1000 miles:
base mileage : 1000
50% COS : 500 ( Class of service)
25% bonus : 250 ( calculated on base mileage only)
-------
1750 ( Of which 1000 plus 500 are Altitude Qualifying miles for status)
base mileage : 1000
50% COS : 500 ( Class of service)
25% bonus : 250 ( calculated on base mileage only)

So you do not get the elite bonus on COS? I was just wondering about that after a recent flight.
