eUpgrade refunded?
 
Hello,

I had a flight pass booked from YYZ to YEG and return. YYZ -->YEG segment cleared my eUpgrade request and confirmed. I then cancelled the flight without cancelling the confirmation for my eUP. I called two people at AC and they said not to worry...but I know how AC IT can be.

Will they get credited back?

they will be credited back but it takes 3 - 4 days.

My eUps have usually been credited back to my account by the next day, assuming it was the last leg of my itinerary and the upgrade did not clear or I changed flights or cancelled flights.

However, if it was the first leg or intermediate legs, the credits would not appear in my account until after the last segment on that itinerary was flown or cancelled.

I have had it where the eUPgrades have *not* been refunded automatically - the situation was where I had two of us booked and then I split the booking and cancelled one of the flights....AC then had to do a manual re-credit.

My recollection is that the upgrade credits get back into the account automatically right away?
