The lounge at LHR is operated by UA for its J/C/F customers (and not even its 1Ks can use it if not flying premium). It is contracted by AC and SA for their J/C customers and as noted, only SEs after next March. Until then, AC 50K and 75K elites have access if flying in economy. However, arrivals lounges have never been a STARGold benefit.

Shows how long i have been to the LHR arrivals lounge. I assumed it would be AC run like the old one. Day flights this year. Thanks for the clarity.

A friend MM and fellow 50k were in it today where surprised when they saw a notice. Either way. Not a big deal. Was nice to get a coffee and wait for a pickup in the old place.

Although it was getting a bit tired, it was kinda nice to have around, wasn't it?

IIRC, it's now a completely refurbed DL arrivals lounge.

How is the new T2, and specifically MLL?

+ how long does it take to get to it from T5 now?

Spacious, modern, not sure I care for long padded bench, but seems to work. Long long hike, 15-20 mins even with moving sidewalk from main terminal and no moving sidewalk if you want to go back plan for it time wise

t2/3 to T5 is free ride on heathrow express 5-7 mins train time, but again long walk from train to terminal

As in, long walk from the gates to the lounge?

15-20m walk to the B gates and the AC lounge from security. Short walk from the MLL to most AC gates.

I prefer the LH lounge to the MLL but that does require leaving the 20 mins to get to B28 (the gate I'm invariably flying out on AC823).

No experience of UA or SQ.

Incidentally the arrivals lounge did allow us lowly E75s in until end March this year.

Long long way from checkin to the lounge/gate. Unreasonably far IMO.
