Those bag tag straps...HOW?!?

Can someone PLEASE explain to me how on earth I'm supposed to attach the tags with those kooky straps? Am I stupid?

Last year I used an old plastic thingy instead (which broke!)

I have a picture illustration that I sent out to people who couldn't figured it out last year. I'll dig around my laptop when I get home and see whether I still have it.

I too would appreciate how to do this task. I have rigged something but I am not certain it is the right way.
Thanks Empress.

I think....Thread the thin end through the slot in the card. Then put the thin end through the 2 slits on the the thick end of the tag, pull to tighten. Put it around the strap or handle of your bag / briefcase and insert the card through the long vertical slit making a loop. If it is not tight enough loop it through a second time.

Hope this makes sense.

Biggles.

I have my laptop case in front of me....I'll try to explain.

Take your card and the end of the strap with the 2 slits and pass this end thru the slot in the card.

Run the other end of the strap thru the 2 slits (like a belt loop) and pull it tightly against the card like you were tightening a seatbelt in a car.

Take the end of the strap with the 4" long slit and put it around whatever bag handle you want to attach it to. Pass the card around the handle and thru the large slit and pull tight on the card and voila !!!

Now.....where is that Rubik's Cube....????

Oh yeah... I know what you mean. When I first got those AC tags the first time, I have no idea what's going on so I was using the straps that came CPlus tags.

It would be nice if AC could include an illustration in the Elite kits, but they haven't in the past two years. I had no luck trying to put the straps on when I first became Elite, but managed to work it out when Empress sent me a copy of the illustration.

I still have the .jpg(from Empress) illustration on my computer. If anoyone wants a copy of it, let me know and I'll send it to you via e-mail.

That's what I did, but it didn't look "right". Oh well, there goes my question for Rupert. I thought that might fill up the hour nicely.

Is there any way whoever has the diagram can post it as an attachment over at errorplan.com on their forums? Their site appears to allow the same although I'm no technogeek. I think it would be of benefit to a lot more aeroplan members for whom FT is a bit exotic.
Thanks!

Perhaps AEROPLAN might consider posting it!
