Careful folks. This is likely a scam.

The domain was registered at GoDaddy. I don't think Aeroplan does that. This could probably grab your Aeroplan number and password and poof go the miles!

Domain Name: YOURAEROPLANMAP.COM

Actually, it looks like Aeroplan does use GoDaddy!

Registered through: GoDaddy.com, LLC (http://www.godaddy.com)
Domain Name: AEROPLAN.COM

Registrant:
Aeroplan Limited Partnership

Domain servers in listed order:
NS10.DNSMADEEASY.COM
NS11.DNSMADEEASY.COM
NS12.DNSMADEEASY.COM
NS13.DNSMADEEASY.COM

--->I'd still be cautious. Check the email headers.

The email also show all my reward bookings for last 8 years. So, it look like they already have access to my account.

The personalized travel map is only available to Aeroplan Members who received the designated e-mail. If you received this e-mail, click the link at the bottom to visit the microsite

I wasn't prepared to put in my password, but I can't even get to a login form.

Got it too. Very interesting to see the stats. There is also a timeline that reminds you of when you redeemed award tickets and for which destinations.

Even more than you think unless all of your AE miles are status miles. This seems a bit like a way of trying to differentiate themselves from Altitude in some ways to me and strengthen the AE brand as something separate.

Got it, probably because I am such a super great customer! To be honest, I remember going to the places pinned on the map, but forgot I had used AE to get there for some – so it did serve a good purpose for them to remind me of how I have benefited from their program. Just amazed they can data mine so far back! Think of the positive possibilities they could use this for. Hmm. Wonder if they noticed the dramatic drop off in my collecting and using miles?

also received it; but am not interested in playing the game to update and 'share'. would be interested to know how they chose the map spots- not all my AE activity was shown but I expect that is the point of getting you drawn into the social media part of this.
