How long do miles from TK take to post.

Flew Turkish a week ago and still my mileage in AE not yet posted. How long does it take TK to process mileage over to AE? In the meanwhile I flew another *A carrier and those miles have already posted. Seems slow or odd!

It was about a week for our TK miles to be posted. I thought it was taking forever. With the Easter weekend it may take a bit longer.

Their system is a little odd. I earn on TK M&S. For four flights I took recently, the first, second and fourth flights registered within 48 hours. The third leg took 4 days. Since the fourth leg was credited before the third, I called in to claim missing mileage, only to be told that the third flight should show up in the system in 2-3 days (the call center couldn't see it in the system at that point).

I was watching it carefully, because that 3rd leg, when cresited pushed me over the TK Elite renewal requirement.

Are you 100% they were eligible fares?

AE is very restrictive with TK in terms of earnings.

It took mine (TK) 3 days to post unto my AE account....Anything longer than that, I tend to just go to AE.com and claim missing miles online.

The only time I flew TK was also the only time I ever had to apply to get credit for missing miles. Not exactly statistically significant but still ;)

I know the OP and he was booked in Comfort Class so miles should post to AE. I found it was taking about a week two summer's ago when I did those CC HKG-IST-LAX MRs. No faster into MP. I think TK may do a weekly dump.

Every time I've had to request the credit on AE (6 times now).

Flew TK in Feb. I requested credit but haven't heard back or had it posted yet

Never had problems (knock on wood) with TK miles posting. Don't recall how long it took to post. Must be within a week.

I only have been flying B fares on TK though.

Thanks everyone, and as Shareholder has stated I did fly in Comfort Class which is supposed to give a 10% bonus on AE miles. I am sure they will post eventually but in any case I have my boarding passes which clearly indicate my AE status.

BTW I can only add my own praise for TK's Comfort Class as well as its current pricing. It is well worth it if you do not mind a few extra hours of earning mileage if you destination is somewhere in Europe as my case is CDG. Even got an u/g to J on IST to CDG but that was more do to a booking accident than generosity.

I will just sit tight and enjoy Paris till my return flight on TK. Still unseasonably cold here and the buds on the trees have not even come out yet.

When I flew them they scanned my card in ULN, but I still had to request a mileage credit. It took about a week after that. Then I flew back ex-YHZ and the *S wasn't on my TK boarding passes (although the E35K was for my AC flight) so I have requested again (about 5 days ago), but they haven't posted yet (nor has my bag shown up, I wonder which will first).

I will second the praise for TK, notwithstanding the lost bag I was quite happy with their J service, and quite like the TK lounge in IST :D
