Showers at YYZ international MLL
 

Has anyone tried using the shower rooms at the international MLL in YYZ? I'd like to find out whether you had to line up for it and what kind of amenities are offered (hair dryer, toothbrush...). Thanks.

Line up? Ah, no.

You simply let the front desk know that you would like to use the shower facilities and perhaps, after a huff and a puff, one will escort you to the shower suites and unlock the door for you.

These shower facilities are the nicest I have seen yet in the MLL network and waaaay roomier than the LHR Arrivals Lounge.

Upon leaving, simply let the front desk know and they will return your boarding pass to you.

Amenities are hair dryer, soap, shampoo, mirrors.

Too funny, that was my last experience to a tee, agent looked a bit exasperated when I asked to use the shower, made her way slowly from behind the counter, and as I knew where the showers were (2 of them there) I led the way.
But useless as she was wearing very high heels and had to take baby steps - we made it there eventually :p but glad I wasn't in a rush.
Just wall dispenser products (shower gel, shampoo) - not sure if they have toothbrushes at front desk

I assume you can use the showers/lounge as an arrival lounge say landing from LHR if your flying J?

I believe you have to go through customs/immigration and as such can't access the lounge unless you are heading back out on another international flight (after customs/immigration).

I do love the water pressure @ London arrivals. All of the YUZ ones are pretty good too.

There is definitely a hair dryer in the shower room. I don't think there's a toothbrush though -- but if you're in the int'l MLL, shouldn't you have packed a toothbrush for your trip? :p

You cannot stop before customs. If you have an onward flight, there are showers in the Domestic MLL - not sure on the Transborder.

Does the MLL have shower kits to hand out?

That's not been my experience. Fresh towels are inside and as mentioned up thread, there are wall-mounted dispensers for soap & shampoo. Other than that, you're on your own.
